Welcome to September!! It's hard to believe the summer months have come and gone and school is days away !!! I must say I am so thankful for the amazing weather we had this summer...our family enjoyed being outside and took full advantage when the sun was shining (although some days shining a little too much ). September is always one of my favourite months, and I am looking forward to the milder days, and the leaves starting to change...it's always a great month for new beginnings !!! ...and speaking of beginning-it's time for all of you who took the summer off to begin scrapbooking again because those summer pictures are piling up and we have LOTS of great product to help you !!!

October's classes have been posted and these are going to fill quickly !!! This month's (4) Layout Workshop is using My Mind's Eye very cute Halloween line Boo to You. This month you will be getting the entire Collection Pack-you will plenty of scraps to continue creating at home !!! Get ready for (2) card classes with Judy this month !!! She has a fabulous Fall card class that gives you tips on creating the inside of your cards as well as a super cute glittery Halloween card too !! You can continue your Christmas card creating and make (10) cards using a beautiful new Holiday line from My Minds Eye. In case you have forgotten... Christmas is only three months away, so take this opportunity to get ahead !! As always, you will learn some new techniques... Judy will also teach you to turn your cards into layouts!! We are excited to be offering a marble tile coaster class with our new Tilano products available in store. You will create (2) coasters with your own photos or artwork and learn the techniques to continue creating other Tilano projects !!! What a great Christmas gift this would be for the grand-parents!! Last, but not least, we have a very cute Youth Gift Workshop for your little scrapbookin' enthusiasts at home... All the details can be found on our online calendar !!!!

There are still a few spots in the September Layout Workshop using Basic Grey's June Bug. These layouts will be perfect for your summer and back to school pictures !! Give yourself a night out this month and join us at Scrapbookin' Adventures!

Thank you to everyone for joining us for Customer Appreciation Day !! We all had a wonderful time, and as you know there were some wonderful sales to be had !! We really do appreciate each and every one of you, and thank you for being wonderful customers. We look forward to celebrating YOU again in the future.

We have just received word that Kokuyo, one of our well known adhesive brands, is no longer producing their adhesive line. As of today we only have a few refills left in stock and the manufacturer is completely out as well. We do however still have a wonderful selection of adhesives in store to meet all your scrapbookin' needs. A few of our favourites include the Glue Glider Pro Adhesive Applicator, E-Z Runner Permanent Tape, and Tombow Craft Collection Adhesives. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask !!!

TWITTER and Scrapbookin' Adventures !!! We're sure most of you have heard of the Twitter craze... it is much like Facebook, another popular social media website. Well, we've taken the plunge and would love to take you with us !!! We've added a link to our Twitter 'feed' on our homepage. You'll find it to the right just under the calendar... there you will be able to click and see an even more updated look at what we're doing at the shop : We're super excited to give you many ways to stay on top of all we're doing to help you create lasting memories of your photos and so much more... You'll be able to see project photos, tips and all kinds of random information about what we're doing day to day !!! As we always say, remember to make some time for yourself, it's amazing how far an hour of scrapbooking can take you...it may just keep your stress levels a notch lower !!!... and don't forget less than 4 months until Christmas, get ahead and start your cards, mini albums, and layouts early (and don't miss out on the wonderful Christmas paper already in store!).
