October 2009 Newsletter
September was such a great month !!! The weather was great, the new product that came into the shop was awesome, and the Annual Scrapbookin' Adventure was AMAZING! We had such a great time with all you wonderful ladies who joined us to celebrate our Anniversary. The workshops were all a blast-I am sure you can all agree, and the memories we made this past weekend will surely last us all a lifetime!! Thank you all so much for being so fabulous !!! Keep watching each newsletter for upcoming special instructors and workshops... As always we have LOTS in store for you !!!

Now that it's October, Halloween is knocking on our door, and Christmas is just around the corner-can you believe it ?!? I have already gotten my daughter's Halloween costume, and I am so excited to see her all dressed up like a little pink butterfly. I absolutely love the holidays... they are just so much fun! If you are feeling a bit overwhelmed with the upcoming holiday season, let us help you out !!
We have a store full of amazing Christmas and Halloween product and hundreds of ideas to give you a little extra inspiration for your next project. Join us for one of our wonderful upcoming classes to put you a step ahead in your holiday planning... whether it's getting a few layouts done, finishing up your Christmas cards, or creating a beautiful gift or keepsake, we have a class for everyone !!!
Our October classes filled up in record time!!! We do have a few seats left in the awesome Tilano Marble Coaster class-this is the perfect gift for any family member, and you will learn all the techniques to create other Tilano products at home! Don't forget to sign your kids up for our incredibly cute youth class this month where they will create cards, bags, and boxes-they will love giving these to their friends (or maybe even you  )
We have (5) inspiring classes for you next month at Scrapbookin' Adventures !! Get ready for:
(2) cards classes, a Christmas mini album class, a Christmas Explosion Box, and a (4) 'from baby to toddler' layout workshop.
Judy has two great Christmas Card classes for you this month. Using Imaginisce, she has designed cards, boxes, tags and more…the perfect class to learn how to create all sorts of projects!! And, everyone's favourite (10) card class this month is using MME's Colourful Christmas…the blue, green and raspberry colours in this paper are gorgeous. In this class you will create (2) of each (5) designs.
Andrea has a super cute Christmas Mini Album for you this month using October Afternoon 'Good Cheer'. You will love the coordinating cardstock stickers and rub-ons too! This Karen Foster Layer by Layer chipboard album is so much fun, and best yet you will be able to pack it full of holiday pictures !!
We are excited to share one of our favourite projects with you again this season…this year's Explosion Box is using Imaginisce Polar Expressions. For those of you that have never created this unique album, you won't want to miss this class !!! This is a great gift, or even better on your coffee table at home !!!
This month's (4) Layout Workshop 'From Baby to Toddler' is a must do workshop for everyone with un-scrapped pictures of your little ones... whether your pictures are old or new, these layouts will be perfect for you !!! Deanyne and Jennifer have designed both (4) girl layouts and (4) boy layouts using Three Bugs in a Rug and they are incredibly cute !! Join us for this class, and if you have more than one child, you can purchase additional kits for only $25 !!! Make sure to tell us your choice of BOY or GIRL as well as how many kits you would like upon registration.
These classes are all so great you'll want to take them all !!! REMEMBER... our workshops fill quickly so get into the shop to register NOW !!!

Just a reminder, we are almost half way to next years' garage sale already !!! Don't forget to keep that box beside your scrapbook space and put all those items you no longer are using in there to earn credit to your favourite store...
MS Fundraiser is now OPEN for REGISTRATION !!!! We have been lucky enough to be a part of this wonderful scrapbooking fundraiser for the MS Society since it began 2 years ago. Founder, Charlene Ogden, has become a wonderful friend of Scrapbookin’ Adventures and we are thrilled to help her raise money for a cause that is close to her heart.
