It really is hard to believe that the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games have come and gone. Although they are finished, I think these games left a lasting impression on most of us, and they will be fresh in our minds for a long time to come. I must say how proud we were to see Canada win our first Gold medal on home soil !! And to win many more golds was just the icing on the cake! Whether you visited Vancouver to take part in the festivities or not, it was a really special feeling to see so many Canadians come together for one purpose... to cheer on our fabulous Olympic Team. Way to go Team Canada, you made us proud!!

In the Scrapbookin' world we have been busy !! The MS Crop in Shawnigan Lake was fabulous, and we were really honoured to be part of an event for such a great cause. Many layouts were created, tons of prizes won, and lot of great food was eaten. This is an event you will not want to miss out on next year, truly a wonderful time ! Spring is on it's way, and we have a ton coming up for our fabulous customers... read carefully, so you don't miss out on any of it:

April Workshops are now posted and open for registration both in store and online !! Another fabulous month for classes with brand new My Mind's Eye in the (4) Layout Workshop, and fabulous 'Cards with Judy' using Basic Grey. The Heritage Layout Workshop always fills up fast, so check out the (3) beautiful layouts this month before it fills up! If you haven't checked out our 'Teen' Layout Workshop yet, it's a must for all your young Scrapbookin' enthusiasts at home. It's a really great way for them to learn all the basics including tool use and different techniques to start them on their Scrapbookin' future!
Our March (4) Layout Workshop and Card Workshop still have a few spots left, so sign up before it's too late! Also check our March's 'Teen' Layout Workshop for you daughters and their girlfriends. We are getting very excited for the first ever Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival in Victoria! Presented by Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine, this is an event you will want to check out. Head to beautiful Victoria on March 12th and 13th to check out all the crafting industry (and Scrapbookin' Adventures) has to offer. Our first Scrapbookin' Saturday is March 6th and there are only a couple of seats left! This is the perfect opportunity for you every month to catch up on all your scrapbooking. Just over a month away now until our ALL DAY CROP in Nanaimo. We are so excited to be hosting this event at the beautiful Oliver Woods Community Centre. NEW FOR THIS CROP... We have been asked to help the Ballenas 2010 Grad Class with some fundraising SOOOOOOO... as we had previously mentioned that we would not be doing food... That has changed as now the Grad Class Mom's (and Dad’s too?!) will be making fabulous food for your crop !!!! We are super excited to be able to help them AND feed you at the same time. REGISTER NOW through the shop, online OR with the Ballenas Grad's and bring your CASH for treats all day long !!!! Join us for 12 fabulous hours of Scrapbookin' with all our classroom tools, an on-site store AND... (4) 'Use Your Own Product' layouts taught by Scrapbookin' Adventures !!! Our Annual Garage Sale is set for April 10th, and we are looking forward to it! It is always fun to see the excited 'garage-salers' waiting bright and early to check out all the fabulous product. Go through your stash, and see what you want to sell to get credit for your favourite Scrapbookin' store! Give us a call to get your registration number March 1st - March 31st and remember price your items to sell !!
