Parksville is always a fabulous place to be on this holiday…our community really knows how to celebrate, and I love it !! From the huge parade, to the massive cake, and every activity in between, our family always has a blast. Of course tons of pictures are taken too, but don't worry... there is amazing in product in store to get all of our Canada Day photos scrapped !!
Our first month at our new Scrapbookin' Adventures location was incredible !! It was nothing short of what we had expected it would be…in fact it's even more fabulous than we had hoped. If you haven't yet been in to visit us yet…..YOU MUST COME IN!!! Our new classroom is bright and big, and so nice to teach in. We are loving every minute of it. The store is full of brand new stock, and it keeps coming in, so watch the website for updates.
Summer is always a busy season for family time, camping and vacations, but don't worry we still have lots going on in store for you to get in and take some time for yourself !!

We have (3) great classes for you in August... you definitely won't want to miss out! July's classes filled incredibly quickly and we even opened up extra seats, so don't wait to sign up this month!
August (4) Layout Workshop is a summer theme, with my very favorite manufacturer…Imaginisce! Believe me, you will absolutely love this cute summer paper, and you will also enjoy a full pack of coordinating rub-ons! Get ready for a bunch of fun techniques including embossing, and playing with Glimmer Mist and Smooch!
Mark your calendars; we have another Christmas Card Workshop for you this month!!! There is no better way to get your cards done for the season. Using the fabulous new Bella Blvd., you will punch, emboss, and die cut your way to (8) very festive cards. This class sold out very fast for July so make sure to hurry in to register.
There is another very elegant Heritage Layout Workshop for August. You will enjoy the techniques in this class, and the beautiful Basic Grey paper Jennifer is using this month. You'll have a kit packed full of paper, a finger dauber and the full package of Capella Chip Stickers too !!
Remember... all of our classes are also available in kits with full instructions and color photos if you are not able to attend a class. Just let us know at time of registration and your kit will be available after the class date.
July Classes filled very quickly this month, we even opened a second class for our Christmas in July Card Class!! There are only a few spaces left in our July classes. Join us for a Scor Pal Card class or Christmas Cards on our second night.
You may have noticed a few new faces around the store this month, and we would like to welcome Kerri and Kayla to the Scrapbookin' Adventures team. Both of these ladies are fabulous and it's a real pleasure to have them in the store with us. Both with scrapbooking experience, we know they will be able to help you all with all your needs in store.
Don't forget that we are open late on Tuesday nights for the Craig Street Market!!! Join us until 8:30 for shopping or cropping in our wonderful classroom. Plan an evening with the girls to visit the local vendors, and finish off with creating a project in the classroom! Hope to see you all there this summer!
We are still taking registration for our Annual Scrapbookin' Adventure coming up September 24-26, so if you haven't yet signed up, there is still time to get registered !! We currently have a large, growing list of super excited ladies that are joining in on the fun and we would love to have you join us !! Visit our website for all the details... and remember, if you can't make the entire weekend, you can join us for either Friday night or Saturday all day too !!
Keep your eyes open for a surprise Guest Instructor to join us in the shop in October !! We're working out the details but can't wait to offer a few lucky ladies the chance to take a class or two with this talented lady... Interest piqued ?! Read on next month to find out all the details !!!
For those of you that haven't heard (or seen  ) Deanyne is PREGNANT and she's having TWINS !!! We are so excited for her and can't wait to meet these new little babies in the Fall. Deanyne looks amazing and has the cutest little tummy just starting to show and she's half way through her pregnancy already !!! Only a few more shifts before she takes the Summer off to get ready. You'll still see her in the classroom, see her designs in the Layout Workshop and hear her voice on our website for a while yet. So make sure to wish her luck and we promise to keep you all posted !!!
