HAPPY NEW YEAR from all of us at Scrapbookin' Adventures !! We hope everyone had a fabulous holiday season. With all the fabulous food, drinks, and good company, we're sure you all took lots of amazing pictures !!! Watching everyone open their gifts on Christmas morning and stuffing the turkey are just a few favorites... we can't wait to get creative with all of our holiday photos and we're here to help you all with yours !!!

Whether you make a resolution each year or not, WE CHALLENGE YOU to make a goal... this year at Scrapbookin' Adventures it is all about 'getting caught up'. This can mean something different to each of you... all you have to do is make a goal and work towards reaching it !!!

How about challenging yourself to do (10) layouts a month ?! We all talk about how busy we are and that we don't have time BUT... don't forget... we can help you get them all done. Join us just two nights a month to do our regular (4) Layout Workshop and our (3) Heritage Layout Workshop and you will have just (3) left to do on your own !!! Remember you are never completely on your own with our workshop open to come in and scrapbook throughout the week AND our Idea Gallery on our site too. You can also enjoy the wonderful inspiration from our SA Designer Naomi as well as weekly additions to our Blog with the Layout of the Week !!

In 2010 we will feature one of YOU in our Layout of the Week each month. Watch our blog for all the submission details !!!

It is now time to redeem all those fabulous coupons you received in December from our Christmas Coupon Tree !! Many of you even have more than one. Bring them in this month in order to take advantage of these awesome discounts. Just a reminder, only one coupon per day, and no stamps are given on discounted purchases.

There are a few spaces left in our January Classes. Don't miss out on our first Heritage Workshop. These (3) layouts are gorgeous and elegant, and perfect for all your heritage photos (or even your recent photos if you choose). Check out Judy's Card Class this month, with many great stamping/inking techniques and you will even receive a (4) pack of Momento markers in your class kit. Also new this year is our 'Tween to Teen' Layout Class', where they will create (3) 8.5 x 11 layouts one Friday each month after school. What a great way for your children and their friends to spend a Friday afternoon !!

February Workshops have been posted and they are fantastic once again !! Jennifer has (3) more gorgeous Heritage Layouts for you, so get ready to learn some new techniques and tips and tricks for scrapping your heritage pictures. Join Deanyne for (4) very cute Valentines Layouts using Bo Bunny's new line Love Bandit. You will create (2) single layouts, and a double layout perfect for your valentines photos !! Judy has created a gorgeous Valentines Card Class for you this month that can be used for any occasion... not just Valentine's !!! Get ready for our next 'Tween to Teen' Layout Workshop where they will enjoy creating (3) more layouts for their album. This is the perfect way for our younger generation to get into photo preservation and learn fun tips and techniques along the way !!

There is still space in the MS Charity Crop at Shawnigan Lake Private School on February 20th. Don't miss out on this one….you will really enjoy the incredible venue, the wonderful food, Scrapbookin' Adventures' on-site store and of course 14 hours of non-stop cropping. We are super excited to tell you about the first Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival right here on Vancouver Island !! It is taking place at the Victoria Conference Centre on March 12 & 13, and we are looking very forward to taking part in this event with our very own Scrapbookin' Adventures booth !! This is going to be an amazing event with make'n'takes, classes, prizes, a marketplace and more. This event is organized by the team at Canadian Scrapbooker !!! See you there...

Nanaimo ALL DAY CROP !!! Watch for registration to open February 1st for our first all day crop in Nanaimo this April. You'll enjoy a large scrapbook space, all of our fabulous tools and an on-site store for your convenience. All the registration details will be online and in store later this month !!! If you want us to come to YOU... just ask. We travel all over Vancouver Island for fundraising events, crops, workshops and Private Classes too. We're so excited to FINALLY be bringing you Monthly Scrapbooking Kits !!! Come into the shop on the 15th of each month for a fabulous kit that includes a full color idea sheet and all the supplies to create a minimum of (2) layouts and (2) cards !! All of this for only $20 per month (plus tax)... Kits are limited so make sure to secure yours with pre-purchase beginning January 4th and all future kits available for pre-order on the 1st of each month... Now for our MOST EXCITING NEWS !!!! Scrapbookin' Adventures is launching our ONLINE STORE this month !!! Watch for class registration and kit purchases to begin on January 20th with more product items being added each week !!! We want to make out of town shopping more convenient for you, not only to purchase product, but to sign up for our workshops and events too. We are thrilled to be opening for you online... watch for updates and more news on our BLOG !!!
